Part 1
Part 2
We will be applying this technique to Cotton Tote Bags just using string or rubber bands.
I will be using Acrilex Fabric Paint, its excellent to paint on fabrics especially cotton. It is made in Brazil and has been in the market for many years.
CHARACTERISTICS:
Wash-resistant
Excellent coverage
Cold fixation
Intermixable colors
Ready for use
Higher yield
Can be applied with brush, sponge or rubber stamp, on cotton fabrics only (non-synthetic).
Wash the fabric only 72 hours after application.
The reason I chose these type of paint is because the colors are really vibrant, and it sticks really nice to the textile. You can wash as many times as you want, the color will not fade after washing.
Also they have a enormous range of colors, Matt, Metallic and Glitter.
You can find them online or look in your local craft store for some fabric paint. :)
You will also so learn the different materials you need for this project. I will show you step by step the process.
